About

Family Offices (FOs) have grown exponentially over the last decades and today represent an important priority for many business families.

London Business School (LBS) has leveraged its London location, thought leadership, world-class faculty, and extensive network to organise a unique non-commercial event addressed to a select group of single-family office principals and the families that they support.

The conference brings together principals and senior executives in a confidential setting without interference from service providers or entities with commercial interests. Participants will be exposed to leading academic and practitioner insights and will engage in joint learning and network building.

What is in it for you?

Safe space environment - We are committed to deliver an environment where participants can meet other families and explore innovative ideas without the distractions of service providers*.

Interactive and collaborative space - We will create an interactive and collaborative space for participants. Short panel discussions will be followed by structured and spontaneous small group discussions, ensuring the active participation of all.

Thought leadership - We will include practitioner talks and insights shared by LBS faculty working at the forefront of global business research and providing leading academic expertise.

Knowledge sharing - We will enable facilitated conversations where participants can share their experiences and discuss solutions to common problems. Facilitators will provide summary write ups after the conference.

Networking - We will provide wide opportunities throughout the day to network with your peers from other Family Offices.

*Disclaimer: The upcoming conference is sponsored by Schroders, a global family office and private asset investment specialist. Schroders will participate in a supporting and non-commercial capacity.

Who is it for?

Admission is reserved for family members, principals of single-family offices and senior family office leadership (CEO, CFO, COO).

Due to the nature of our event, applicants who provide advisory services, raise capital or work for an entity that provides a service/product to wealthy individuals will not be admitted.

About the organiser

The IEPC supports the development of entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ideas that drive impact, create wealth and advance well-being. The IEPC also conducts research underpinning today’s private capital markets including venture capital, private equity, growth, buyouts, and the broader private capital ecosystem.

A central ambition of the IEPC is to grow our family enterprise linked research, teaching, and events programmes. For us family enterprise covers the full family ownership spectrum, bringing together business owning families with those managing their own single-family offices. We believe the IEPC’s twin strengths of business entrepreneurship and private capital management are central to understanding family enterprise now and into the future.
