August 2025
It’s that time of year again when the School is coming back to life. Our newly renovated Plowden has reopened and students are back on campus. If you come by, you will also notice construction of the extended Quad and Arrival Garden underway. Here’s a glimpse…
I’m really looking forward to our Worldwide Alumni Celebration (WAC). I’ll be joining the events in London, New York and Dubai. Additional event registrations are opening as details are finalised so do take a look at the WAC website and find the event closest to you.
In other exciting news, LBS is setting sail as part of the Clipper 2025-26 Round the World Race. The LBS team yacht will set sail from Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth on 31 August for the opening stage of the race around the globe. Read all about it below and let us know if you'd like to get involved.
On another note, thanks to a fantastic student association initiative last year, we now have an LBS mascot! Designed by Attina Zhang MBA2026, our LBS Lion will be available soon at the school store. A little reminder to take some time out of our busy work lives for some fun.
There’s plenty more to explore in this edition, scroll down to see what else is happening around the School.
Warm wishes,
Ramsey Sargent EMBAG2005
