The 16th symposium offered an enlightening exploration into the future of private capital investment. Attendees engaged in sessions dedicated to structured lending within the private market, with a particular focus on the convergence of private credit and Collateralised Loan Obligations (CLOs). The event shone a spotlight on hotels as an asset class, analysing strategic investment trends for private capital in this lucrative sector. Discussions also encompassed general partner-led transactions and continuation funds, providing strategic perspectives on these evolving areas. Participants benefited from valuable research insights into the role of human capital in venture capital, supported by evidence from a study involving 100,000 venture capitalists.The symposium also covered emerging VC trends and the future of venture capital, touching on politics, Deep Tech, and AI.
